Margaret Yap Pottery Studio reserves the right to change the Terms & Conditions of this website without prior notice. Any and all change will take effect immediately. Visiting and/or purchasing from the website means visitors engage with our services and are bound to the following terms and conditions including any additional policies that are mentioned herein. These terms apply to all users of the website, including but not limited to users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

Products

Images of products on the website may have slight colour variations in comparison to the original item due to the differences in monitor screens. Any natural defect in the product will be highlighted in the product image and the product details. Margaret Yap Pottery Studio lists any essential characteristics of the products to ensure they are as faithful as possible to the original, but it is the responsibility of visitors to read our product details before conducting a purchase.

Prices listed in product pages are liable to change and do not include shipping charges. When clients choose the items that will be delivered to them during checkout, relevant delivery charges will be displayed to them.

We charge a flat rate price for any and all deliveries, you can find their details here.

 

Payment

By engaging with and purchasing from our website, you authorise Margaret Yap Pottery Studio to subtract funds from their bank account through the chosen bank provider. Currently, we only accept manual payments in the form of Bank Transfer. As this will be manually confirmed from our part, there might be delays in accepting clients’ order. For receipt and communication purposes, your email address will be collected to confirm payment.

Clear instructions to complete payment will be provided during checkout, and it is the client’s responsibility to follow the steps provided thoroughly. If payment is not made within the 24-hour time limit, we will consider the sale annulled and cancel your order.

 

Account

Visitors/clients can create an account to receive newsletters and promotion announcements, but you can also go through the checkout process as a guest. In case you decide to register for an account, they will have to provide certain information regarding themselves as prompted during account registration stage on the website.

It is the responsibility of the visitor/client to ensure that their information is accurate and up-to-date. If for any reason the information provided is incomplete or inaccurate, it is their responsibility to maintain the accuracy. If for any reason a technical difficulty is encountered, visitors may contact Margaret Yap Pottery Studio to aid in alteration of information with consent. If they no longer wish to have an active account, they can also request deletion of data to Margaret Yap Pottery Studio. 

Clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account - any login information such as but not limited to, passwords, billing and shipping addresses should be kept in confidence. If any unauthorised use or breach of security is detected, you may contact Margaret Yap Pottery Studio immediately to pause or delete the account.

 

Privacy

We will be taking photographs during all pottery lessons, in accordance with Margaret Yap Pottery Studio’s schedule. The copyright of the photographs belongs to Margaret Yap Pottery Studio, but students can share the rights to the images if they are part of the subject. We will occasionally promote the images through our Instagram and Website with full credit to the parties involved, and they are also allowed to repost images provided by Margaret Yap Pottery Studio.

The following applies to the process of data, such as personal details and images:

  • You are allowed to request access to your personal data in the form of a copy to check we are lawfully processing it.
  • You are allowed to request for alternations of data should it be deemed inaccurate or untruthful.
  • You are allowed to ask erasure of your personal data and revoke our access to them.
  • You can object to the processing of your personal data if you wish to no longer receive any direct marketing or other relevant activities from us. This can be done by contacting us or unsubscribe through any promotional email we send you.
