Shipping Policy

It is the responsibility of students and clients to ensure that the shipping address provided is correct and as intended. Margaret Yap Pottery Studio will not be held liable for any misinformation from the students’ / clients’ side.

We currently ship to Indonesia only, but a special request for international shipping may be allowed upon inquiry. A specific quote will be provided upon consideration from our shipping couriers.  

  

Shipping for finished results

Please allow around 3 weeks for your pieces to finish firing. We will reach you by DM or WhatsApp to notify you once your pieces are ready to be picked up.

For larger and more intricate pieces, pick-up is recommended to avoid any chance of breakage during transport. However, we will minimise any chance of breakage and securely pack your items with generous wrapping and cushioning materials. If for any reason this is not possible, students can also request for their items to be sent using GoSend (located within Jakarta) or other shipping couriers for those located outside of Jakarta; however, this will incur additional charges from the student. 

 

Shipping for webstore items

You can pick-up your item(s) in our pottery studio at Pluit Karang Cantik IX, Blok M3S no.16, Pluit, North Jakarta, during opening days only on Wednesdays - Sundays from 10am - 6pm. An appointment from our part is necessary to ensure that your items are available for pick-up at the studio.  

Online orders will be processed at least one day after we have confirmed your payment, therefore, please do send us a screenshot or other proofs of payment so we can process your order. We currently ship on Wednesdays only via JNE - contact us if you need it urgently, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. An order is considered accepted once you have received a reply from us confirming your order.  

We currently ship within Indonesia only, and charge a flat rate as detailed: 

  • Jabodetabek: IDR 25,000
  • Rest of Java: IDR 25,000
  • Bali: IDR 30,000
  • Sumatra: IDR 40,000
  • Kalimantan: IDR 55,000
  • Sulawesi: IDR 60,000
  • Maluku + Papua: IDR 80,000

Please note that the above price only shows the price for the first 1kg. We currently only accept orders with a total weight of maximum of 10kg. For orders above 10kg, please contact us at margaret.madebymy@gmail.com for a separate arrangement. 

Delivery estimates will be affected by our chosen courier. We currently use Gosend / Grab services for Studio Pickup and use JNE for website orders. Please note that any delivery estimate dates displayed on the website, confirmation email, and any other written material are simply estimates and do not represent a guarantee.
